Eugen-BoltshauserInvited lector: Prof. emer. Eugen Boltshauser

Professor emeritus Eugen Boltshauser was the head of the Division of Pediatric Neurology in Children’s Hospital Zürich and a professor of pediatric neurology in University of Zürich. He is also an editor-in-chief in Neuropediatrics as well as editor in Brain and Development and European Journal of Pediatrics and an honorary member of Society of Neuropediatrics and European Society of Pediatric Neurology. His fields of interest are cerebellar disorders (malformations, Joubert syndrome, disruptions), neurofibromatosis, neuroimaging. Over his career, he has been awarded with Peter-Emil Becker Prize, Cornelia de Lange Medal, Guido Fanconi Memorial Award. Prof. emer. Eugen Boltshauser has written a book Cerebellar Disorders in Children and has published 345 articles, that have been cited over 6200 times. He has also described a new disease – Poretti-Boltshauser syndrome.
